We are delighted to invite you to Exeter Brain Research Network's first networking event! This will be a great opportunity to network with other people that have similar research interests, and to find out about the newly formed Exeter Brain Research Network, their plans for the future, and how you can get involved.
There will be flash talks throughout the day which will provide a great opportunity to present your work and hear about new and innovative research at Exeter. We welcome presenters from across all career stages. If you would like to present a talk please choose the 'Flash Talk Presenter' ticket option where you will then be able to submit your abstract for consideration. The deadline to submit an abstract is the 13th of July, to allow for the selection process. The deadline for registering for general attendance tickets is the 22nd of July.
This one-day event will take place at Sandy Park in Exeter. Lunch and dinner will be provided as will transport to and from the venue from Streatham, St Luke's and Penryn campus (depending on demand). The brief programme for the event is as follows (this may be subject to change):
- 10:00: Arrival & welcome at Sandy Park Conference Centre (Estuary Suite) with refreshments & networking
- 10:30: Opening Address – Introduction to the Exeter Brain Network
- 11:00: Power pitches – session 1 – 15 @ 3 mins
- 12:00: Lunch
- 13:00: Power pitches – session 2 – 15 @ 3 mins
- 14:00: Resources at Exeter for Brain Research
- 14:30: Coffee break
- 14:45: Neil Gow – an introduction to the Exeter Research Networks – vision, aims, research & impact
- 15:15: Round table break-out sessions – 3 x 30min rotations
- 16:45: Closing remarks

- 18:00: Dinner at Sandy Park (Chief’s Suite)
- 23:00: Return coaches depart
